Changhua County is an important hub for Taiwan's travel from south to north. It is an important hub for Taiwan's travel from south to north. Changhua County has a long history, and our research topic is to explore the legendary development of the local tourist settlement-Tua-loo pîng community.
2. Summary of Our Project
The Han people have a long history of developing Changhua. The early Han people had a strong sense of territory and formed village settlements between different families or ethnic groups in Changhua. The object of our study is the Tua-loo pîng community. This settlement was established in 1803 by the Lai family and has a history of more than 200 years. The grocery store hidden in the settlement along the road has been in business since 1974. It was originally only to meet the daily needs of the community, and later developed into a nostalgic grocery shop. In recent years, the operation of the overall construction of the community, and then through the local beliefs to unite the clan's centripetal force, have ushered in changes in the original settlement in the west of the sunset. Through interviews with local elders and the collection of relevant documents, we can be aware of the changes in our environment, understand the past, and move towards the future.

B. Number of workstations with Internet access in the classroom:2-3
C. Connection speed used in the classroom:dedicated connection
D. Number of years our classroom has been connected to the Internet:more than 6
4. Problems We Had To Overcome
It is difficult to judge the value of the large amount of data collected, especially in the section of historical documents, there are many contradictions, or a conflict between the period and the historical facts. We compared the literature from various sources, and the oral history from local elders, trying to piece together the story behind the hideout. It is difficult for students to use the information they have checked in the field during the field research, such as the form of houses. Then we took photos and compared them with the literature on the premises to solve the problem.
5. Our Project Sound Bite
By participating in School Cyberfair thematic action research, We learned more about the story of the land under our feet, and observed that old customs and practices are still lurking around us, and these past accumulations are our rich treasures now. During our research, we accidentally discovered that the students living in the neighborhood were blood relatives, which brought us closer together. A government project to renovate an old settlement in the dying days has given us a chance to change. If you act, there is hope.
6. How did your activities and research for this CyberFair Project support standards, required coursework and curriculum standards?
Our research is integrated with student learning, and through the search and consolidation of literature, students develop the ability to synthesize information and write essays. During the fieldwork in settlements, students can effectively practice observing various details of reality, and at the same time feel the possible gap between literature and reality during the process. In the interviews with local elders, the overall context is sorted out, and then the atmosphere of teamwork is cultivated, and the results are shared with each other, then the special research is completed. This study is especially integrated with the social field because it can see the historical process of early Han Chinese family development, so that the participating students can corroborate with what they have learned, and the descriptions in textbooks are actually the lives of our ancestors.
