1) What information tools & technologies did you used to complete your CyberFair project?
With a view to making our project more specific, we analyzed online sources, including videos created by some environmental groups, referendums on the issue of the Datan Algal Reef, and interviewed experts to obtain information for our project. At the same time, we contacted and interviewed the founder of the Ohorike Culture Association through Google Meet. Lastly, we employed Google Form to conduct our survey and used Google Document to organize our ideas.
2) In what ways did you act as "ambassadors" and spokespersons for your CyberFair project both on-line and in person.
In Taiwan, there are a few areas that people might ignore. Our purpose is to give attention to algal reef issues and appeal to people to take this incident seriously. Raise public awareness, tell them about the concern, and let people understand how important the algae reef is.
As Taiwanese citizens, we are doing some algal reef research. We strive to write more about the purpose, studies approach, Literature review, interview, data analysis, data organizing, web architecture, and conclusion to know deeply about the information of algae. To let more people know about the issue of the environment, and host some environmental activity to convey our faith and ideas.
3) What has been the impact of your project on your community?
Our project helps raise public awareness of the algal reef issue and familiarize people with the importance of algae for maintaining biodiversity. We also urge people to take notice of what is happening in the environment now and what detrimental consequences the environment might face.
Raise the awareness of algal reef problems and make people be familiar with the environment's concerns. Appeal to people to take notice of the environment and know more about what is happening in the environment now. The issue of algal reefs is not only an opposition to bias but a relation with environmental protection.
4) How did your project involve other members of your community as helpers and volunteers?
We called on people to participate in this subject, getting involved in the vote about the protection of algal reefs. We interviewed the main participant about his opinion about voting and provided information for us.
We invited teachers and people to complete the research with us. Based on the reliable source, we interviewed the expert who helps us to know more clearly about the algal reef. Also, the teacher has pointed out the pros and cons of the issue to our team, so we successfully completed the work more efficiently. Not only did the teacher introduce us to this competition, but also provided good suggestions, which led us on the right path. Most importantly, the discovery learning method that the teacher applies can strengthen our critical, analytical, curiosity, and judgment skills so that we can experience more. At the same time, we could stand upon their shoulders and see a bigger picture when dealing with the issue.
