On our pages, we introduced the sights around Kaohsiung City, we divided these sights into 4 categories, Music, Nature, Ocean, and History.

3. Our Computer and Internet Access

A. Percentage of students using the Internet at home:more than 50%

B. Number of workstations with Internet access in the classroom:more than 6

C. Connection speed used in the classroom:dial-up modem

D. Number of years our classroom has been connected to the Internet:more than 6

4. Problems We Had To Overcome

This is our first time making a website that introduces our hometown.

The first problem is we don't know how to make a website, some of us understand programming, but most of us don't, so we choose Google Sites as our main tool to build our website.

The second problem is language, our mother language is Chinese, so it's difficult to translate our information into English.

5. Our Project Sound Bite

After we finish our website, we know more about our hometown!

6. How did your activities and research for this CyberFair Project support standards, required coursework and curriculum standards?

In this Cyberfair project, we learned a lot, such as working as a team, communicating with the Internet, making a website, it's a new experience for all of us!

Project Elements

1) What information tools & technologies did you used to complete your CyberFair project?

One. Applications we used: 1. VSCode We used VSCode as an HTML editor and text editor, it has a plugin that auto-correct our English spelling.

Two. Websites we used: 1. Google Sites 2. Google Drive 3. Kaohsiung Travel Website Google Sites is the most important tool to us because most of us don't know how to program, so if, without it, this website can't be done. Kaohsiung Travel Website help us find more sights we have never seen before

2) In what ways did you act as "ambassadors" and spokespersons for your CyberFair project both on-line and in person.

Some of our team members tell their parents about our project and what does it tell them, they also ask them to help with searching sights or telling us the information we can't get from the Internet.

3) What has been the impact of your project on your community?

This project let us know more about our local community and the hometown we live in, it also helps people know here, we hope there are more people who can know Taiwan!

4) How did your project involve other members of your community as helpers and volunteers?

After they saw what were we doing and what's this project, some people started helping us with collecting data, translating, arranging the website, without any return!
