1. Description of Our Community

Our school is in the East District of Tainan City. In the Ming Dynasty, Zheng Chenggong set Tainan as Chengtian House. Later, Zheng Jing planned to Chengtian House as Dongan, Xiding, Ningnan, and Zhenbei Sifang. Our school is located in Tainan Donganfang Cultural Park. . Dong'anfang Cultural Park can be said to be an area where Tainan's Eastern and Western beliefs and cultures coexist. Because of the exchange of Western beliefs and cultures, Dong'anfang Cultural Park presents an inclusive style of Chinese and Western cultures. This time, the Tainan Boai Elementary School's online blog team Chamingzhen project team will take you to find a century-old street, which is an old street built by the Dutch during the Ming Dynasty. There is the Minquan Ancient Street known as Taiwan's first street. On this street, there are Taiwan’s oldest plaques and the oldest wells, as well as many century-old shops. The Zhenfa Tea Shop on Minquan Street, which was awarded the Golden Gourd high-quality trademark during the Qing Dynasty, is the century-old research subject of our research. shop.

2. Summary of Our Project

The concept of the 'Looking for Tea Shop-Zhenfa Tea Shop' is derived from the supplementary resources of social textbooks and the school-based curriculum mentioning knowing their hometown and community. School students have a strong interest and curiosity in the place where they were born and raised. . Therefore, I hope that through this special study, we can learn more about the history, culture, and operation of Zhenfa Tea Shop, a century-old shop in Donganfang Cultural Park where the school is located. More and in-depth understanding. Tainan is a famous ancient capital of Taiwan, and the streets of the city are full of relics of time. There is a slang in Tainan: 'Four sisters step on the golden gourd, and Qiniang holds a red cloth bag in her hand.' The golden gourd in the sentence is the symbol of the award-winning tea store in the Qing Dynasty. This time our special topic '[Finding Tea]-A Century of Zhenfa Tea Shop' is located on Minquan Road and Qingnian Road. Zhenfa Tea Shop is the century-old tea shop that won the Golden Gourd Award on Minquan Road. Through this special study, we have a deeper understanding of the connotation of local business operations and the preliminary understanding of tea. We searched for Zhenfa Tea Shop, a century-old Tainan shop, and studied the history of the shop and Taiwan’s tea-drinking culture. The direction of our research is from the shop’s establishment history, collecting historical data of the tea shops, and doing analysis and research to understand early tea drinking. The influence of culture on Taiwan’s lifestyle.
