1. Description of Our Community

Weinan is located in the eastern Weihe plain, the Longhai railway, it is named after the city is located in the south of Weihe. On the east of the Yellow River and near Shanxi and Henan, adjacent to the Western Xi'an and Xianyang, in the south of Qinling Mountains and Shangluo, in northern Qiaoshan and adjacent to Yanan and Tongchuan, Weishui crosses it

2. Summary of Our Project

Looking for the information and visiting, to understand the history and culture of Weinan, know the beauty of the motherland. Let us cherish the history and develop Weinan more and more beautiful.

Our school has a computer classroom and computers with broadband and wireless Internet connections. We took time to have our webpage project finished in school.

4. Problems We Had To Overcome

We did a lot of work on selecting the topic of our webpage making project. We found information and online research. In order to get the first hand information about Weinan history, we made good use of time to visit and interview old men who witnessed the transformation of this city. We felt very beneficial from our every step of the way. Knowledge is weightless

5. Our Project Sound Bite

This is a competition what we obtain there was not only joy, but more of grateful feeling. It was a hard struggle, but knowledge is weightless

6. How did your activities and research for this CyberFair Project support standards, required coursework and curriculum standards?

Throughout the project, it was a process of growing up for our team, and it was also some useful insights from our journey. This experience has led to a heightened awareness of “No end to learning”, “knowledge is weightless” and “Union is strength.”.

1) What information tools & technologies did you used to complete your CyberFair project?

Hardware: computer, mobile phone, U disk, DV Software: Word, Photoshop, Meitu Xiuxiu

2) In what ways did you act as "ambassadors" and spokespersons for your CyberFair project both on-line and in person.

We found a lot of information, visited Weinan City History Museum and interviewed some old men who have experienced. We wanted more people to know our Weinan’s history and culture, It helps them hold today's happy life, and to inspire youth to inspire youth to fight for the aftertime of our motherland.

3) What has been the impact of your project on your community?

Let more people know the viewpoint we were studying, and thus to understand the past in my hometown, to love homeland, and to inspire youth to fight for the aftertime of our motherland.

4) How did your project involve other members of your community as helpers and volunteers?

The main materials we researched online, a photographer, Mr. Li Zengben helped us with taking pictures, other information we collected from Weinan City History Museum we visited. Teacher and students of school were cooperating with sharing our research results. Thanks to all people who helped us throughout the project.

5) Discoveries, Lessons and Surprises (Optional)
