Project Elements

1) What information tools & technologies did you used to complete your CyberFair project?

Hardware: computer, camera, digital camera, scanner Software: Photoshop 9.0, Microsoft Word, Macromedia Dreamweaver

2) In what ways did you act as "ambassadors" and spokespersons for your CyberFair project both on-line and in person.

In the process of our research, we visited many villagers, local officials and Mountain ranger around Zhanghuai Mountain. We also shared our experience with all the students. Most importantly, we want to let more people know touching stories of Prince Zhang Huai and the glorious age of the Tang.

3) What has been the impact of your project on your community?

Without our study, our classmates including many people in our hometown just know little about Zhanghuai Mountain. We thought only of some poems when we talked about Tang Dynasty. Through our study, we share the achievements with students and people in our hometown; let them know hometown tour recourse.

4) How did your project involve other members of your community as helpers and volunteers?

Our material is mainly gotten through visits. DaYakou village Party branch and village and civil affairs departments Comrade Yuan Jiaxiang provides a lot of information to us, especially the related pictures about Zhang Xuemei, at the same time, he also told us a lot of stories about Xue Mei when accepting our interview. Some villagers were also involved in our interview, school students communicated the results with us. Of course, the teacher gave us a lot of guidance.

5) Discoveries, Lessons and Surprises (Optional)

In the course of the study, we found that it is not easy to deeply study a project. We just heard that there is Zhang Huai mountain, but we don't know the story behind Zhang Huai, not to mention its true meaning. Now through our further study, I also found many previously unknown knowledge, for example, each of the spots has a moving story, every mountain temple has a secret history. Through visits, we also see, there are many people who are rich now do not forget the hometown people, there are also many people know a little about the culture in our hometown, some of them even know nothing, don't to mention Damu mountain, we hope through this project, we can let more people understand and pay attention to Damu mountain, let more people love their hometown, and to do their efforts for the construction of their hometown!
