1. Description of Our Community

“Feng Tou Shuei Wei” , which refers to the windy side and the end of water, is the most appropriate geographic description of Shengang Township. Shengang locates in the northwest of Changhua County. Its north is Dadu River and its west is Taiwan Ocean. Strong wind is a great advantage for wind power generation. We can see many huge wind turbines in the coastal areas. Some wind turbines were just set on the road of the industrial district and their spectacular looks attracted many tourists.

2. Summary of Our Project

We grew up eating meat is great snacks, a lot of people's childhood memories, 'Taiwan's meat king' is not only to make the traditional taste of meat, meat also modernized, made jerky strips novel, combining young tastes, get the public alike. And by the chairman of the interview process Yaoqi Yang, we see a successful entrepreneur in the process, do not give up the willpower and perseverance required determination, no matter what profession, need repeated training in order to consummate and make results.

5. Our Project Sound Bite

“As long as there are Chinese, there are dried meat.' CEO of Hsan-Ji said. His dream is to make the world's favorite meat and dried meat Taiwanese people can enjoy the king of the craft.

6. How did your activities and research for this CyberFair Project support standards, required coursework and curriculum standards?

This project contents many element of our routine coursework, including language field, society field, ntegrated activities field and IT education issues field.

1) What information tools & technologies did you used to complete your CyberFair project?

School, connected by T1 Line Taiwan academic network. Home is using ADSL or Cable Internet, conduct inquiries and upload data. Web production is the use of: FLASH, DREAMWAVER software production. Graphics software has: PHOTOSHOP, XMIND, PHOTOCAP and GANTTPROJECT draw Gantt chart software. There are several records of equipment interview camera, voice recorder. References include network database.

2) In what ways did you act as "ambassadors" and spokespersons for your CyberFair project both on-line and in person.

Our students tried to know everything of Dried Meat, and tried to published all of our research to the resident of ShengGang country.

3) What has been the impact of your project on your community?

With case studies, we realized that no matter what, we need a great effort of investment, we are very fortunate to be able to participate in this network Bo game, because case studies, found the mystery meat, learning skills and access to information systems, learn more pages production and use. With these activities, and the feelings of the members of each other but the topic is more profound. There is a saying: 'The most painful time, the time is going to succeed.' While we sacrificed a lot of time to do the rest of the network Bo, the process is really hard, but the fruit is sweet.

4) How did your project involve other members of your community as helpers and volunteers?

We are particularly grateful to the 'Taiwan meat king' chairman here, through his help to make us a better understanding of the company have so interesting is all around us, but also for his passion and let us know the importance of a positive. In addition, I want to thank the staff of the company, every detail and have the patience to explain, to make us a more in-depth study.

5) Discoveries, Lessons and Surprises (Optional)

First, we found that 80% of Taiwan's meat come from this company, which is quite stunning detail. Even more interesting is that the original with a variety of eating meat, as long as you have imagination.
