1. Description of Our Community
The terrain is mountainous in the south, has many beaches in the north, belongs to the alpine mountain area, annual precipitation is 400 mm, and annual average temperature is 1.8 ?, frost-free period is 77 days. There is about 500000 mu of Pingcheng pasture in the churchyard, is the only natural grassland in Lanzhou. But in recent years, due to various reasons, grass in the pasture degenerated to some extent, and even the desertification in partial places was serious. There is 1500 mu of natural forest in Mount Baoquan natural forest farm of the churchyard, which belongs to the jurisdiction of Jiang junbu forest farm, in summer and autumn, the conifers set each other off, the climate is pleasant, it is a summer tourist resort. There is 102092 mu of cultivated land, of which is 3500 mu of irrigated land. Crops mainly include wheat, pea, oilseed, and pea is the pillar industry of Pingcheng township. Pig and sheep breeding bases, in the whole construction of village renovation project, during the period of 2005 to 2006, are successively being built in the Zhongtang village, Huoshidong village, Xiedigou village and Xiaoshagou village. Vegetable solar greenhouses in Yinggezui village have been built more than 130 seats in succession, have formed the scale planting. And they brought a certain economic income.
2. Summary of Our Project
In recent 20 years, due to drought, less rain and strong wind of nature, in addition, human excessive request, Pingcheng pasture has been overburdened, desertification has been more and more serious, and thus it brought environmental problems affecting people's life and the production of agriculture. We hope that through our website, let more people pay attention to our pasture, and protect our pastures.

4. Problems We Had To Overcome
There are mainly two types of problems: the first is technology, we obtained the help of teacher Zhang Yinghua, as well as teacher Ju and teacher Ma from Tongyuan middle school; The second is the photo shoot, due to the limitation of the time, we only can take pictures of this season, can not present the comprehensive overview of the Pingcheng pasture.
5. Our Project Sound Bite
Through this activity, we mastered a certain technique of computer operation and technique of photo shoot and processing, on the basis of development of the activity, we also understood the certain knowledge geography and environmental protection, we also felt that in a deeper level, we were no time to delay in attaching importance to the environmental problem and solving it.

Taking our spare time to collect and refer to materials, visit and take photo, and write the article. We not only ensured the normal study, but also broadened our vision, at the same time, made us learn to pay attention to the environment around us.
