1. Description of Our Community

Our community is Lotus Pond which is located in Kaohsiung Zuoying .We also introduce some special things around the Lotus Pond while we are doing this project.Lotus Pond is a popular tourist attraction in Zouying,because when you're here,you will feel relax and free from noise.

2. Summary of Our Project

Our website is about historical buildings,tourist attractions,landscapes,our expectations of Zuoying,and something interesting around Lotus Pond etc.

4. Problems We Had To Overcome

We had to overcome the problem that our members was only two people,but after we have solved this problem,there was a more difficult obstacle:'We have different opinions.'With teacher's assistance,we do better and better gradually.

Some of us are interesting in Information Engineering,the others are interesting in writing or English.

6. How did your activities and research for this CyberFair Project support standards, required coursework and curriculum standards?

International Schools CyberFair is a great contest that can make us learn a lot of experiences,and the skill about computer,most important of all is that we can learn more than other students.Take set a web for example,now we can do it by ourselves and we also learn how to work with the people you're not acquainted with.

1) What information tools & technologies did you used to complete your CyberFair project?

We use cellphone to contact with each other;Use computer to do everything,the Net to collect information;Use dreamweaver to design our website,Adobe flash to design flash,Word to type words,Sothink to design button,and photoshop to adjust photos. The most valuable tools is the Net.Without the Net,we can't get the information.And the most technology is computer,because we can't set a web without a computer.

2) In what ways did you act as "ambassadors" and spokespersons for your CyberFair project both on-line and in person.

With the help of the member's parents,we interview some great store and restaurant near the Lotus Pond.Also we talk with the tourists and understand how they feel about Lotus Pond.

3) What has been the impact of your project on your community?

This project not merely let us experience Zuoying residents' kind and passion,Also understand the important of working in team,environmental consciousness,historical maintain.

4) How did your project involve other members of your community as helpers and volunteers?

When we arrived Zouying we started to find museum manager,tourist and the people who have lived there for a long time. We deeply appreciated their helps.
