Project Elements

1) What information tools & technologies did you used to complete your CyberFair project?

We used both in-class and home computers with access to the Internet. As a main web site designing tool we used Google Sites as it gives basic but user-friendly features. We did oral interviews with Skype, recording them with CamStudio software (open source) and embedded them in our website with YouTube services. All of these tools were very helpful and the skills we developed during the project are likely to be used very often in future activities.

2) In what ways did you act as "ambassadors" and spokespersons for your CyberFair project both on-line and in person.

This project id devoted to uniting local communities with the rest of the world through their young leaders. Students participating in exchange programs are always consider to be ambassadors of their nations even after the actual stay in a different country is over. The goal of the project is to tell local people about the great way to develop young people's leadership skills that can be very beneficial for local communities.

3) What has been the impact of your project on your community?

As the goal of the project is to tell local communities about the opportunities to develop their young people's leadership skills, this website is going to be used to help in intensifying student exchange. It is aimed at encouraging students to apply for student exchange programs with better understanding of how participation is going to influence them. The project will help them to see the benefits of participation for their future as individuals, their career and social development. They volunteered their time and gave very informative interviews. They also shared a lot of useful inside on the issue. We also thank our teachers who used to participate in academic exchange program and gave us very helpful guidance.
