3. Our Computer and Internet Access

A. Percentage of students using the Internet at home:more than 50%

B. Number of workstations with Internet access in the classroom:more than 6

C. Connection speed used in the classroom:dedicated connection

D. Number of years our classroom has been connected to the Internet:2-3

4. Problems We Had To Overcome

we had to re-do our project narrative because it was deleted, our internet was down for several days, and two members of our group were sick multiple days.

5. Our Project Sound Bite

It has been a great experience and has allowed us to grow. It was great for the community because the places were interviewed and they saw what other people thought and how it was presented.

6. How did your activities and research for this CyberFair Project support standards, required coursework and curriculum standards?

They addressed high content standards. In language arts we have to media and literary research and this is what this does. I learned how to work together with different kinds of people. Each person working on a different thing.

Project Elements

1) What information tools & technologies did you used to complete your CyberFair project?

We used the websites to find the information, and we used laptops to enter the information.

2) In what ways did you act as "ambassadors" and spokespersons for your CyberFair project both on-line and in person.

We went to the specific restaurants and asked questions about the restaurant.

3) What has been the impact of your project on your community?

Our project will inform the people around the world about the local barbeques. Our site will give the people unfamiliar with Austin Barbeque a good start to explore them all.

4) How did your project involve other members of your community as helpers and volunteers?

We went around and asked people what 5 barbeques they thought about first in Austin.

5) Discoveries, Lessons and Surprises (Optional)

I learned that there is a vast variety of barbeques in Austin alone.
