Project Overview

1. Description of Our Community

Austin has many great restraunts. We are naming a few of many different types of food. We are naming American, BBQ, Sub sandwiches, Tex-Mex, and Italian Pizza. All of these restraunts are original in Austin and are always very busy and have many customers.

2. Summary of Our Project

We have decided to do a project on Austin restraunts. Some of our restraunts include home slice pizza, thundercloud subs, and Chuy's Tex-Mex. We have all different types of information

3. Our Computer and Internet Access

A. Percentage of students using the Internet at home:none

B. Number of workstations with Internet access in the classroom:2-3

C. Connection speed used in the classroom:not sure

D. Number of years our classroom has been connected to the Internet:more than 6

E. Additional comments concerning your computer and/or Internet access (Optional):

We have all types of information in our project such as hours, food, and where they are located.

4. Problems We Had To Overcome

We only have one laptop cart and the connection is slow so it was hard to get started most days, and we only have a 40 minute period so there was not a lot of time to get finished. Our group also was distracted and off task because of conflicts within our group and a lot of disagreements about who needs to do what.

5. Our Project Sound Bite

My participation in the International Schools CyberFair is that I have created my whole website page and that I have worked with my teammates on designing the website.

6. How did your activities and research for this CyberFair Project support standards, required coursework and curriculum standards?

We learned how to interview people and how to find information. Internet helped us to find information fast.
