Project Overview

1. Description of Our Community

Join the ranks of the school band, let us know the coach, Huang Mao Tsun .He sometimes compiled spectras for Pud Castle Wind Band . He is one of the important members in Pud Castle Wind Band. And our mentor, Cheng Nai Chia is also a important member in the Pud Castle Wind Band , he told us many story about Pud Castle Wind Band. In our mind, the best orchestras in Changhua is ' Pud Castle Wind Band”. They often played music in the Auditorium, not only moving melodies driven every audience's emotions, but also let the people all over the world to see the beauty of the music in Changhua.

2. Summary of Our Project

Pud Castle Wind Band, is a group of music-loving people to get together and build a castle, full “heritage, happiness and Share '. The performances provide them a opportunity to share the joy of playing music with the audience. A well performances brought into warm applause, is a certainly for them to continue playing music. The Pud Castle Wind Band was a band for the alumnae of Yuanlin High School before . But now besides the alumnae of Yuanlin High School, there are some students from the other schools in the band. Why did they want to join the band? What is the reason for this group of the musicians leaving campus for decades still playing music together.? We hope we can by this thematic exploration to discover the beauty of the music Changhua .

4. Problems We Had To Overcome

Difficulties: not too familiar with web authoring software, resulting in many of the steps are not complete successfully. Solution: reference books, and browsing the relevant information.

5. Our Project Sound Bite

Pud Castle Wind Band alumni to heritage, the aim of joy and sharing continues from 1 to 20 years, more absorbing many hobbies band music enthusiasts to join the family, this special group attracted us to study.

6. How did your activities and research for this CyberFair Project support standards, required coursework and curriculum standards?

The theme 'Pud Castle Wind Band' research and exploration, corresponding to the curriculum in seven areas in the' Arts and Humanities 'music, performing arts and other aspects of learning, to cultivate the interest of the students in the arts and hobbies, and actively participate in cultural activities,to enhance its sensibility, imagination, creativity, artistic ability and literacy; Fostering 'appreciation, performance and innovation' , 'planning, organization and practice' , 'the use of technology and information' , 'Active Exploration and research' and 'independent thinking and problem-solving' ability to reach your goals.

2) In what ways did you act as "ambassadors" and spokespersons for your CyberFair project both on-line and in person.

On the team, we can show our affinity to treat it on the network, then we can build a message board where people achieve the bonus effect to show others cordial to each question must be answered in the form of questions, the last in our personalto enhance their understanding of the team and the things we study.

3) What has been the impact of your project on your community?

The experience let us be severely affected, although we have learned a lot of knowledge, also have good cooperation relationship with members between, but down in several discussions we find that we are so useless. we can't create web pages . The experience let us have a great impact as well as to encourage, we thoroughly understand our ignorance.

4) How did your project involve other members of your community as helpers and volunteers?

We need to thank a lot of teachers.They teach us many skills of manufacturing web pages.We also need to thank the interviewed objects. Because they complement our interview.

5) Discoveries, Lessons and Surprises (Optional)

This experience let us have a lot of discovery, for example, we found that the English is really important for us, because of the translation, most of the English words we did not learn, we do not understand a lot about the grammar of English, so we really important; this experience let us learn many lessons, like we have never engaged in activities of the Access, so we do not know where to ask;, but we were surprised that Pud Castle Wind Band , although I have never come into contact with other orchestras, but I think it will lead people fascinated groups.
