Project Overview

1. Description of Our Community

Chun-Mei Opera Troupe has been formed by Chun-Mei’s Father and Mother for 20 years.Now, the troupe is hosted by Chun-Mei and her brother. Taiwanese Opera has been the most popular entertainment for many years in Taiwan.Traditional Taiwanese Opera was popular. As time goes by, Taiwanese Opera is not popular with the folks any more except Ming Huayuan and Chun-Mei Opera Troupe . Chun-Mei Opera Troupe was formed by all ages of members will give everyone different and new feelings.

2. Summary of Our Project

We will interview and study the history of Taiwanese Opera. We will show you the history of Chun-Mei Opera Troupe, the members of Chun-Mei and performance. While interviewing Miss Chun-Mei, we felt the power of Taiwanese Opera. Everyone in Chun-Mei Opera Troupe is great. We had to practice again and again. The performers looked beautiful and different whent hey woar their customes.

4. Problems We Had To Overcome

The complexity of work often presented many issues. We have to separate the work into specific tasks. Team work also has to be a top priority during the late stage of the project. Time management was key to a successful result. Finally, we reviewed our entire interview process. We felt our project had a positive outcome.

5. Our Project Sound Bite

This was our first time to attend this competition.we were very happy to be a part of it. Although, the project was very time consuming, we gained valuable experience and had a very postive and enjoyable result. We were very apprecated for all the support.

6. How did your activities and research for this CyberFair Project support standards, required coursework and curriculum standards?

We learn how to effectively allocate work, for example: the work force into an interview, search, web design, and finally integration.From which we took advantage of computer software engineering CyberFair.Students in our team effort in the access Chun-Mei Opera, teachers endeavor to assist our work and teaching.The school sent our team to participate in the international network of community expo, we have new challenges, want the best works presented for everyone to see!

1) What information tools & technologies did you used to complete your CyberFair project?

We used the school computers when we stayed in the school.The computer facilities in the school are really nice and the internet is fast. When we went home, we used the online communication for discussion.

2) In what ways did you act as "ambassadors" and spokespersons for your CyberFair project both on-line and in person.

All the teachers and supporters became important bridge of connecting the Taiwanese Opera with general population.

3) What has been the impact of your project on your community?

In the beginning, we felt the topic was boring. After we learned more about this, we found that Taiwanese Opera is very interesting and attractive. We’d like to let everyone know more about Taiwanese Opera.

4) How did your project involve other members of your community as helpers and volunteers?

Our teacher understanding of Chun-Mei Opera, so to arrange a time to allow all members to discuss and interview.Head of more than cordial and willing to provide their performance experience to us, we are very grateful for their assistance.

5) Discoveries, Lessons and Surprises (Optional)

In the beginning, we found that everyone was not interested in this project. After learning more, we started to work together and made our ideas come true. I also found thatwe didn’t prepared enough . After this project, we knew that we had to prepare more before we did something. Although we thought Taiwanese Opera was boring at the first place, we started to like Taiwanese Opera after we studied it. So we gained a brand new experience.
