Project Overview

1. Description of Our Community

Muzha is district at Taipei in Taiwan ,and it is a beautiful place. Taipei Zoo and Maokong Gondola are famous places. Our study includes the story of Mucha's history,and many stories here.

2. Summary of Our Project

Muzha is district at Taipei in Taiwan. Prof Howard Rusk Long from America has photographed a series of daily lives of the local people at Musha District in 1957. Although he was not a native person, he kept the very important records. Now, we will use these photos to review the stories happened in Muzha through our children’s eyes. Wish everyone can feel the beauty of Muzha by these photos and stories.

We often use the computer. Every family has a computer. Each week has computer class. Therefore, we are pleased to show our report with computer

4. Problems We Had To Overcome

We have to interview strangers. We must also look for the missing stories. But we got a lot of people help. Therefore, we find many interesting stories

5. Our Project Sound Bite

We write stories of Muzha. We hope that everyone can better understand this place.

6. How did your activities and research for this CyberFair Project support standards, required coursework and curriculum standards?

In this study, we learn the cooperation.Record these stories, let us know more about Mucha.In our study with the languages, history and geography are very helpful.We feel that learning is fun.

Project Elements

1) What information tools & technologies did you used to complete your CyberFair project?

We use computers,cameras,scanners,voice recorder,and books. In this study, we have the most extensive use of digital camera and voice recorder, viewing movies and books about supporting, some data using the scanner to scan in order to clear, moreover, we visit a few museums studying the history of cats, a lot of in situ visits.

2) In what ways did you act as "ambassadors" and spokespersons for your CyberFair project both on-line and in person.

The study we interviewed a lot of people. Most of the people are very friendly, also provided assistance, listening to our hometown to interview, we all think that makes sense, therefore, in this regard, we would like to thank these folks.

3) What has been the impact of your project on your community?

Our study has ended, but we will continue to love our hometown.We wish that everyone to have a better understanding of the place.

4) How did your project involve other members of your community as helpers and volunteers?

There are a lot of people to help us, such as Muzha researchers and local people.They like our projectand, and provide the resources we need.

5) Discoveries, Lessons and Surprises (Optional)

Our greatest find, is that there are a lot of stories and food. We also found that many places have great stories. We make efforts to find the story here.
