Project Overview

1. Description of Our Community

Wuwei, is in the name of liangzhou, located at the hexi corridor, joining the qilianshan in the south and the green land at the northern tenggeli desert. There are culture relic shows that early in 4000 or 5000 years there are people living there. Taint mountain rock cave, renamed as “ great Buddhism” temple, in the village 50 miles away, to the north of taint mountain. Yellow sheep reservation is therr.. there is a saying that: zhangyichuan, shuihutan, Buddhist touch the qi mountain.

2. Summary of Our Project

Located at the wuwei city in gansu province, one of the famous one. Because of long time, and hurt, especially the earthquake, it is ruined to the worst. We take the rock cave as the object, we want more people can come to protection the queue.

Owing the school is at the mountainous area, with the limit of the economic condition, there are only 4 computers, there are not enough computer for us, we always use the rest time to complete.

4. Problems We Had To Overcome

After the first match, we didn’t receive the bonus but with the experience. In addition, as last year, we choose the staff and group. Selecting the taint mountain rock cave” as the main content. After choosing the material, we select the material, owing to we have 40 miles away so in order to finish the task, with the support of the school, we interview during the weekend.

6. How did your activities and research for this CyberFair Project support standards, required coursework and curriculum standards?

Through this activity, we not only finish our task, but also apply the knowledge,. Owing to the title is the historic relic, so we need to check the related details, so we need to combine the content and knowledge. In the final stage, we decide to aks the student to finish the task on the class , in order to save time for the interview.

2) In what ways did you act as "ambassadors" and spokespersons for your CyberFair project both on-line and in person.

The first time to attend the activity, our scale is small. At first nobody knows what we are doing now. they just see us continuous taking the pictures, in order to let them understand, we give out the blackboard. All knows us. In the interview, we always explain the match and then mor people will work with us. So everyone is happy for it.

3) What has been the impact of your project on your community?

We get the attention from the leader and parents they thought that our content can deeply reflect the taint mountain cave. As the national relic, its face it hard to accept. Owing to there are few people popularized it.

4) How did your project involve other members of your community as helpers and volunteers?

To choose the title, we start to prepare. In the process, we explain in details to them and get the support. in the activity, they give up the work to support us providing the biggest convenience.

5) Discoveries, Lessons and Surprises (Optional)

In the normal way, when we scan the views, we just enjoy the outside color and shape. But after this activity, we finally know that, to scan the view, especially the historic relic, we not only need to stress the outside, but also inside culture and history,
