1) What information tools & technologies did you used to complete your CyberFair project?
In order for us to complete and make this project as such we used: Computers,Video cameras,Digital cameras,Scanners ,Telephones,Internet, Flash 5.0, Microsoft Word ,Paint Shop Pro, Notepad, Museums, Oral interviews ,Exposure trip
Tools are great equipments that can help us in our everyday lives. It makes us do the job in an easier and faster manner. On the other hand, technology is the tool that we are using now. Both the tools and the technology did help us in completing our project. These tools helped us in a way that it made our work without much difficulty and accurately. We have located these tools with some help on the school. The school gave us the opportunity to use the computers wherein we have done our project. The most valuable tool that we have is the computer. It is the most essential thing that we have because without it we could not make an entry. We will not even be in this contest without it. As for the things that were most helpful, it would be the information that we got from museums and the oral interviews.
It is the highlight of this project and with that information we can share them to the world.
2) In what ways did you act as "ambassadors" and spokespersons for your CyberFair project both on-line and in person.
An “ambassador” is a person representing his or her own country but in the case of this project, it’s the school. Representing the school is a great opportunity and as well as an honor. We were able to apply the things we have learned while having a great pleasure during the trip and making this. It is also an ample amount of responsibility for us to have the school be known and be recognized. Honestly, at the beginning of the project the one who became an “ambassador” is our very own mentor in Practical Arts subject, Mr. Dante Madali. He is the most enthusiastic one who made all the possible arrangements. He got all information via Internet.
But, as we conduct our exposure trip we have proven that we can also be “ambassadors”. This was seen in doing interviews and all of the explanations we have gone thru.
Being “ambassadors” brought about our courage and our self-confidence. It also led us to discover the gift of talking to different types of people.
3) What has been the impact of your project on your community?
The greatest impact we have had in this project is that we obtained a bond between the school and the community. They even offered to have a curriculum in the school to help the students in the arts.
We, the students have gained and obtained knowledge in the sense that they have implanted lessons and values that may be used in everyday lives. They have shared a great understanding about the life of the people. his project will make such a difference to support the local artists.
4) How did your project involve other members of your community as helpers and volunteers?
Other members of the community help us in many ways, like our school services for providing schedule and reservation of the trip. The High School IMC for camera, video cam, and other materials, the laboratory assistant, our contacts in Angono and We would like to thank our HS Principal for providing the School Bus we used for gathering data and for the support he extended to us. Our very own teacher Mr. Dante F. Madali for encouraging us to join the contest, and for giving an advise and tips in the design.
5) Discoveries, Lessons and Surprises (Optional)
We discovered that we really do are gifted with different talents and abilities. And also, no one is stopping us to show what we have in ourselves. We could all be artists! It is simply done with a great heart, imaginative mind and our selves. We’ve learned that we must not overlook our local artists. They try and give their efforts to show the world how remarkable and outstanding Filipinos are. They need support and we must be the first ones to give it to them. We also have learned that without cooperation and unity nothing could work out. Even a quote says that: “no man is an island”. We must work together, and together we will gain the recognition that is for us.
