Title: Expanding Your World Through Books (ID:3078)
Begin & End Dates: 7/19/06 to 7/19/07
Number of Classrooms: no limit
Age Range: 5 to 18 years
Target Audience: Anyone
Summary:
This is a comprehensive look at children's independant or assigned reading of books over a one year span. This survey will focus on common authors, book titles, genre, subject matter, as well as why students are reading certain books. This project will give students and teachers an index of books being read by students across the United States and possibly around the world. It will allow students to see other books that may be of interest to them to read and encourage expanding their current reading interests. Students within the survey will write short summaries of the books they have read for other students to read.
